Set of three antique Nepalese hand-carved quartz crystal beads; fluted and watermelon-shaped. From the early 1900s. There is one large bead that is 27mm long x 18mm diameter, and two smaller that are 20mm x 13mm. The holes are very tiny -- a 24 gauge wire can just make it through (or very fine Softflex) . The beads are worn with a few visible internal stress fractures and some surface chipping–which only add to their rustic charm. Sold as a set.
